Bologna are chasing Vicenza defender Valerio Di Cesare.

Di Cesare was at the centre of last week's red card controversy involving Juventus striker Amauri.

Along with the highly-rated defender, Bologna are also keen on Brescia centre-forward Andrea Caracciolo.
