Bologna admit they face losing their Italy goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
Viviano is currently in co-ownership with Inter Milan.
"Viviano's situation is that he is at the centre of a co-ownership deal with Inter which will need to be resolved in one way or another," Bologna sporting director Carmine Longo said.
"I honestly don't think that Bologna have the money available to take total control of his whole contract.
"After all, don't forget that we are talking about the current first choice for the Italian national team
"Inter could take him at the end of the campaign or leave him with us for another season," he continued.
"However, these things are to be discussed in the summer seeing as co-ownership deals don't need to be resolved until 23 June."
