Bolivian wonder boy Samuel Galindo is wanted by Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez.
The Mirror says Martinez is keen to sign midfield maestro Galindo, who is just 17 but already his country's Under-20 captain and training with the full national side before their upcoming World Cup games.
Both Galindo and his club Real America are prepared to pick Wigan ahead of Italian giants Fiorentina and Russian side Spartak Moscow.
Galindo would prefer to come to the Premier League and is interested in Wigan because of their Spanish manager and collection of Hispanic stars at the DW Stadium.
Wigan are willing to pay around £700,000 to land Galindo, who would need to get a work permit on a special case appeal as he is yet to be capped by his country because of his age.
