Bulgaria international Valeri Bojinov wants to stay with Manchester City because they have stood by him through an injury hit season. "I enjoy being here, and I'm very happy with City because they stood by me through injury," the 23-year-old told the club's official website. "I would like to stay, and if I can I will, but you can't guarantee you will play and next season is very important for me."
Bojinov is hoping to repay the Citizens for the faith they kept in him during his time out with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
"That was a big injury, but I'm better now," he maintained. "You want to play more games but that depends on the boss. Getting the goal at Tottenham (Hotspur) was important to me. It was very difficult not to be training and not to be with the team."
