Fit-again striker Valeri Bojinov has committed himself to Manchester City.

"I have seen the stories and no I don't want to move back to Italy," Bojinov told the club's official website.

"I'm happy in Manchester and want to stay because City is a very important club. After a year of injuries, I'm happy because the club, and the manager have given me a chance to stay at City.

"I don't want to go to Italy because I want to play for Manchester City, the fans and for myself, in The Premier League. The Premier League is very important and I want to show the new manager what I can do."
