Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic has revealed that the wind is always a disrupting factor at Britannia Stadium, but Stoke players have learned to use it to their advantage.
The impressive 2-0 win against Manchester City springs to mind in which the Potters brilliantly utilised the weather conditions in Staffordshire to outsmart their superior opponents.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Krkic said: "At the Britannia, the wind is strong, always!
"When it gets blustery in Stoke, you know about it. For me, the wind is the worst weather you can have to play football. It affects the direction and weight of passes but you cope.
"The important thing is to perfect your own game. Against City, though, we outplayed them on the floor.
"Whether it was windy or not against City, I think we win that game because we simply played better than them."
