Boca Juniors star Ever Banega has attracted a formal bid from AC Milan.

The midfielder was Argentina's big star at this summer's U20 World Championships in Canada and Boca president Mauricio Macri has confirmed an offer has arrived from Milan for the youngster.

"The Rossoneri have offered £8 million," revealed Macri, "but we want twice that amount - at least."

Atletico Madrid are also keen on Banega.
