Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici has welcomed their deal for Juventus striker Carlos Tevez.

Tevez signed for Boca in an outright deal.

“This is a day of joy and enormous satisfaction," said Angelici in a statement on the club website.

“The return of Carlos Tevez, during an extraordinary moment of his career, is fantastic news for all the members and fans of Boca, plus for all of Argentine football.

“Carlos' presence will allow the squad to take another huge leap forward in terms of quality."
