Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici says a deal for AC Milan defender Gustavo Gomez is close.

The 24 year-old has managed just one appearance this season.

“We are continuing to talk to Milan for Gomez and we're getting closer to the right figure," Angelici told TyC Sports.

“Towards the middle of next week, we ought to have some news."

Milan could agree on an 18-month loan with €5m obligation to buy.
