Boca vice-president Pedro Pompilio confirmed: "The idea is to recruit Roman by the 30th of November and for three years. It is the desire of everyone and it would be great to have him back in the Argentine championship, as well as for the national team."

Villarreal supremo Juan Manuel Llaneza is in Argentina and held talks with Pompilio yesterday. The Boca chief added: "We are going to continue talking in the next few hours to try to reach an agreement, which at this stage is possible even if there are several points to be resolved."
