Boca Juniors have announced the sale of defender Ezequiel Munoz to Palermo.

Munoz is moving to Sicily for €6 million.

He flew to Italy yesterday and will have a medical today before meeting up with his new team-mates at their training camp in Austria.

Palermo's midfield playmaker Javier Pastore has already intimated that he is prepared to give up his No 6 shirt for Munoz, who wore that number throughout his career at Boca.
