AC Milan legend Zvonimir Boban has heaped praise on Inter Milan over their deal for Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

Boban is a huge fan of the youngster.

"He is the new Boban? He has the potential to be even better than me. He's an all round talent, not yet a director, but a pure midfielder. He can play as a midfielder, it is his ideal role.

"He has huge potential. He's fast, fast, has great technique. Inter have made a great buy."
