AC Milan attack Kevin-Prince Boateng has urged his club to choose Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez over Catania's Maxi Lopez.

Both strikers are wanted by Milan.

But Boateng joked: "Maxi who?"

The former Portsmouth and Tottenham midfielder added: "Lopez plays well, but we need someone like Carlitos.

"Tevez would be perfect for Milan. He is fast, knows how to defend and is aggressive. I think the San Siro wants a player like this. It is not for me to decide, though.

"Tevez could also act as a playmaker, or play on the left or right."
