Germany Under-21 international Kevin-Prince Boateng scored on his Tottenham debut in a 3-2 friendly win at 10-man Grays Athletic.
The 20-year-old, who cost the club around £5.4m from Hertha Berlin last week, put the Spurs XI 2-1 ahead when he sidefooted home after 54 minutes at the New Recreation Ground.
Boateng restored the advantage after the break before being substituted and Spurs gained a man advantage when Karl Murray was sent off following a tangle with Tom Huddlestone.
Another recent recruit, Adel Taarabt, added a third after a Huddlestone shot rebounded into his path in the 68th minute before Grays substitute Danny Kedwell grabbed a consolation.
