Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng has no doubts Pep Guardiola will bring success to Manchester City.

Boateng has gone against the tide at Bayern, insisting he enjoyed Guardiola's management.

He told BILD: "City is considered already a success with what Pep Guardiola has done, and I'm sure it will get even better.

"So it was with us. Year after year we have grown stronger.

"In Manchester it will be easier for him, also he will bring players in who fit his philosophy."
