George Boateng has praised the young development system at Hull City.
He told CITY magazine: "Here at Hull City the coaching of the young players is very good.
"What I like about the coaching here is that everything is done with a ball. Yes there is hard work, and that has to be the basis for any young player that wants to break through, but you have to be able to use the ball.
"Unfortunately for the British teams, the Dutch youth system is a lot more advanced.
"When I was growing up at Feyenoord, the Under 15s and 16s used to play against British Under 18s, 19s and 20s because we were able to use the ball very well.
"Yes, we were behind on power and strength, but we had all the other talents and skills to pass the ball and beat people.
"The coaching of young players in Holland is exceptionally good, even at the lesser teams."
