George Boateng has revealed he chose Hull City ahead of offers from Celtic and Fulham.
He told Voetbal International: "They (Celtic) were just not prepared to pay Middlesbrough's £1 million asking price. The same goes for Fulham.
"I can honestly say that Hull City were not originally the club I had in mind. But when you get to my age, this is a massive challenge."
