Boa Morte launches blast at West Ham co-owner Sullivan

Luis Boa Morte has fired a broadside at West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan as he prepares to leave Upton Park.

Boa Morte, who scored on his return to the first team after injury, is out of contract in the summer.

The 32-year-old was annoyed that Sullivan attacked the players in public and said: "Mr Sullivan should have a bit more composure when he talks to the press to hammer the players. It's not helping anyone. The fact you have money doesn't mean you can say and do whatever you want."

When asked if his views reflected that of the West Ham squad, the Portuguese told BBC Sport: "Everyone feels the same. Some people will take this kind of situation, some people like it and some people don't. Some people listen and don't even care about it but people like myself, I've been playing football for 15 years, and I've never had a board behind me like that.

"That's why I'm not pleased with them and hopefully next season they will change to help the club."
