Holland coach Danny Blind has revealed he's been speaking with Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
The Dutchman has battled for consistency at Spurs since his August arrival from AZ Alkmaar.
Blind told Studio Voetbal: "I had contact with him last week. And also just before the transfer deadline, for he had opportunities to leave.
"Vincent has chosen to do this full year at Tottenham. There is also something to be said for that. I have called him and talked about his situation.
"When I suggested that there is interest. He chose to fight."
He added: "Yes, he plays little, but he does play for the number two of England and trains there."
