Blatter has dig at Arsenal boss Wenger

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has reiterated his ambition to limit the number of foreign players allowed to play in domestic leagues.

Blatter wants to fight European employment law which currently means it would be illegal to set limits on foreign players within the EU.

Opinion is divided about foreign quotas, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been amongst those to have criticised the plans.

However, Blatter has hit back again saying: "If you have teams playing in the league like in England and there are no English players on the field of play, then something is wrong.

"One day you'll say we don't want a national team, then okay you'll follow Arsene Wenger."
