Juventus chief Jean-Claude Blanc has explained selling Diego to Wolfsburg.
The Brazilian lasted just one season in Turin.
"Diego would've had difficulty settling into Gigi Del Neri's tactical system," explained Blanc during a shareholder's meeting in Turin.
The Brazilian was surprisingly sold to Wolfsburg after he had already played in the Europa League and for less than the club paid for him just a year earlier.
"We preferred to sell him in order to reach another player of his level, like Krasic."
