Laurent Blanc says he's not in the running for the AS Roma job.

Blanc had been on the verge of signing a two-year contract when negotiations suddenly collapsed.

"I am very eager to get back to work, although I still don't know where that will be," Blanc told La Provence.

"The only certainty is that I will not be the next Coach of Roma, even if I had talks with the club.

"Real Sociedad? I was never even in contact with that club."
