Blackpool president Valery Belokon is confident of making a profit.
Many have questioned what Belokon gets out of his involvement with Blackpool FC, especially as football is not generally regarded as a profitable business.
Belokon explained to the Blackpool Gazette: "Usually we hear that football is not profitable and, yes, there are a couple (of clubs) who go in the wrong direction. But many are profitable - Arsenal, Spurs, Aston Villa.
"Manchester United have a lot of debts, £1billion, but it is worth £2billion. Football is profitable in my view, especially if you have a chairman who is saving every penny. Then you are destined to make profit!"
