Blackpool made a move to re-sign Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam yesterday.

The Daily Mail says Blackpool have made a bold attempt to re-sign Adam on a short-term loan.

Adam left Bloomfield Road to join Liverpool for £6.75million 18 months ago before moving to Stoke in a £4m deal last summer.

Stoke are considering the proposal of a one-month loan in the knowledge that Adam cannot join another Premier League team, having played for Liverpool and Stoke this season.
