Blackpool have opened talks with Aston Villa about extending the loan of midfielder Isaiah Osbourne.

Ian Holloway hopes that Martin O'Neill will do him a favour and let the powerhouse squad man head for the Seasiders for some vital first-team experience.

Osbourne, 21, has been on the fringe of the Villa side for some time and O'Neill could let him go after his club missed out on an extended run in the Europa League.
