Blackpool are floundering in their attempts to sign Leicester City striker DJ Campbell. The two sides are so far unable to agree on a fee for the forward leaving the deal in the balance.
The Foxes marksman impressed while on loan at Blackpool, his goals helping to fire the Seasiders through to the play-off final where they beat Cardiff to ensure their first appearance in the top flight since 1971.
Campbell's move to Blackpool on a permanent basis then appeared to be a formality.
However, City are looking for £1.5 million for the striker who scored 11 times in 18 games last season which it seems Blackpool are not prepared to meet.
