Crusaders striker Jordan Owens has described Blackpool's offer to him as "disgraceful". The Seasiders tabled a bid for Owens and winger Stuart Dallas, both of which were rejected by Crusaders boss Stephen Baxter.
"It wasn't a great deal and what they offered me and the club was not good enough," Owens told the Belfast Telegraph.
"The Crues were not prepared to accept the offer and what they offered me was disgraceful really.
"It was just not acceptable. It came down to their chairman offering a deal which Stephen (Baxter) laughed at himself.
"They didn't come back to us but we couldn't leave the Irish League and live on what they were offering."
