Blackpool ace Charlie Adam is staying grounded over the transfer talk swirling around him.
Adam has come a long way from being the whipping boy at Rangers - now he's destined for a big-money move in the summer with England's top clubs chasing his signature.
Liverpool were desperate to sign him in January but Blackpool refused to sell the men they see as their Premier League saviour.
It's an amazing turnaround for the 25-year-old - but the level-headed lad isn't about to get carried away with it all.
He told the Scottish Sun: "I've family and friends who keep my feet on the ground but I'm not the type of person to go and let it go to my head.
"I just want to keep playing as well as I can and hopefully get the rewards that come.
"One of the rewards for me now is getting in the national team. Play well for your club and you're going to get the opportunity to play well for your country.
"I said before that I never got the opportunity before because I wasn't playing enough or playing well enough for my club to get that. Hopefully if I keep playing well enough at Blackpool I will get the opportunity to come back here.
"I've just grateful the gaffer is picking me and putting faith in me. I want to keep repaying him with the way I've performed for Scotland in the last couple of games. Hopefully I can continue that way.
"The most important thing is to keep doing my talking on the pitch and make sure that whatever people say is true. I feel confident just now but that comes from playing regularly. I am fortunate enough that in the last two years I have played regularly.
"That's what I am enjoying and what the manager has said is great, but I cannot let it go to my head. I've just got to keep playing and justify the words he keeps saying.
"You can't just think, 'I'll turn up for this or that game.' You have to come, turn up, perform well and stay in the squad - because there are good players coming through that are pushing everybody."
