Blackpool captain Charlie Adam says they should now focus on a winning consistency after getting over their trips to Chelsea and Arsenal.
Adam feels his side can improve if they heed the lessons learned in London.
"I am happy we have got two of the very top teams out of the way so early in the season because now we can focus on the games that really matter in terms of us getting points," Adam told the Blackpool Gazette.
"We can learn from the mistakes we made, particularly during the first half at Stamford Bridge. We are not used to this league and the more we play in it the better players we will become.
"When Chelsea come back to our place they will see a totally different team.
"By then we will have the experience of this division and will have put right the mistakes we have made."
