Blackpool are on the verge of clinching a deal for an unnamed Arsenal youngster. Seasiders boss Ian Holloway claims he has had a loan bid accepted by the Gunners.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: "I've got a massive yes from Arsene Wenger and Liam Brady about a player, I've now got to convince the agent that the player should come to me and not choose other teams.

"I can't tell you the name of the player but if I've got to go to London to meet him I'll do it. I've got to provide him with a chance in the first team and make sure the lad is looked after and developing."
