Blackpool boss Ian Holloway was furious after his side were beaten 3-2 by Manchester City on Sunday.
Fortune abandoned the Seasiders who were defeated by a controversial Carlos Tevez double and should have had another goal themselves when Gary Taylor-Fletcher's second-half effort was disallowed.
Tevez's first goal, in the 67th minute to give City the lead, should havenot been given as he was off-side and his second in the 79th minute, was doubtful with a foul to Blackpool being missed in the build-up.
Holloway said it was a shame that 'Goliath' had been received favourable decisions to take all three points away from Bloomfield Road.
"The big decisions swung the game their way and Goliath has just walked off with all three points," he lamented.
"David has been left to fill his slingshot. I wonder what the score would have been otherwise.
"I think David would have been happy and Goliath would have had a mark where we had hit him."
Holloway added on Sky Sports: "He's (referee Phil Dowd) got three massive decisions wrong, which cost my team against one of the so-called big teams.
"For me, we could have been one point behind them if things had gone our way, as they clearly should have done.
"We're getting absolutely bo diddley squat, week in, week out. But there you go, such is life."
