Blackpool forward Matt Derbyshire believes manager Paul Ince will be given plenty of time to prove himself in the role.
Ince took the reins from Michael Appleton at Bloomfield Road recently and Derbyshire, who is on loan from Nottingham Forest, feels his former Blackburn Rovers boss will be given the patience and resources he needs to succeed.
"Obviously I've known him from my time at Blackburn and he's a good manager," he told Blackpool's official website.
"He knows how to work with the boys and I enjoyed my time with him last time. It's always good to be playing under a manager who knows you.
"He hasn't changed that much, he's still the same manager and the same person. I think at Blackburn he didn't get enough time, and that was wrong.
"I think now though at Blackpool he'll get that time and I think he'll show a lot of people what he can do."
