Blackpool defender Craig Cathcart is set to spend some time on the sidelines with a torn calf muscle.

The 23-year old Northern Ireland international missed Monday night's home loss to Huddersfield Town leaving Seasiders manager Ian Holloway to rue his injury.

"Any injury is one to worry about. He has a tear in a stabilising muscle in his calf," Holloway told The Gazette.

"I think he's been terrific for us, as has my whole defence, but we let three in on Monday night so it's back to the drawing board."
