Championship club Blackpool are believed to be considering a £6million offer from Southampton for Matt Phillips.
The 21-year old winger has attracted the interest of the Saints this summer with reports suggesting that the Seasiders could be ready to sell him for the right price.
Nigel Adkins, the boss of Premier League new boys Southampton is looking for some extra attacking quality and it is believed that Scotland international Phillips' performances last season has him extremely interested.
