Blackpool have offered Rob Edwards a new contract.
The Sun says Seasiders manager Ian Holloway is giving a trial to Malaury Martin with a view to making him the club's first Premier League signing.
Former France youth international Martin, 21, spent last season on loan at Nimes from Monaco.
Edwards, whose contract expired last season, has also been offered a new deal.
