Blackpool could beat Aberdeen to the signature of Blackburn Rovers striker David Goodwillie according to the Daily Record.
The 24-year old striker joined Rovers from Dundee United for £2.2million in 2011 but has failed to fire in Lancashire and could be on the move this summer.
The Terrors were interested in a return loan for Goodwillie but it appears as though Seasiders boss Paul Ince will make a move to beat off competition from his former clubs SPL rivals Aberdeen.
