Blackpool insist there are no concerns over Ian Holloway's new contract.
The 47-year-old's contract included an option of another year and the Blackpool Gazette says he will be offered improved terms in the coming weeks.
It is believed that the situation is not one to be worrying the Pool boss and at no point leaves his future in doubt.
Pool's wage bill was one of the lowest in the Championship last season and will be a drop in the ocean compared to their Premier League rivals, but are expected to hand Holloway and his assistant Steve Thompson a substantial reward for their good work.
