Blackpool are hoping they can bring in former Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United goalkeeper Richard Wright.

The 32-year old stopper, who kicked off his career with Ipswich Town in 1995, has been training with Crystal Palace but Seasiders boss Ian Holloway has been talking to him for the past few days and hopes to take him on a free as soon as possible.

Wright, who most recently played with Ipswich, will not be able to get a contract with Palace as they have full squad numbers but Blackpool have a vacancy and want Wright to agree terms before the weekend.
