Alex Baptiste admits he still can't believe Blackpool's promotion.

Defender Baptiste can hardly believe he will soon be trying to stop the world's top strikers.

He said: "It's an amazing turnaround for me. When the club came in for me two years ago, Mansfield had been relegated to the Conference.

"In the previous seasons I'd spent time out on loan at Tamworth and Burton Albion. But look at me now. I'm going up to the Premier League.

"I don't think that will sink in until I see the fixture list and point to Man United, Chelsea and the rest.

"You always try to scout the players you play against, so during the World Cup I'll be watching the likes of Drogba and Rooney."
