Rangers striker James Beattie has joined Blackpool on loan for the rest of the season.

The 32-year old joined 'Gers from Stoke City in the summer but has appeared just seven times in the league since his arrival Ibrox.

But he has been able to get away from Glasgow to join the Seasiders after completing a medical and agreeing terms prior to the transfer deadline.
