Blackpool face being beaten by Reading for Plymouth striker Wright-Phillips

Blackpool face being trumped by Reading for Plymouth Argyle striker Bradley Wright-Phillips.

The Mirror says Reading boss Brian McDermott is snapping up Wright-Phillips from under the noses of Premier League Blackpool.

Wright-Phillips will join the Royals from cash-strapped Argyle for a bargain fee which could rise to £100,000 and goes straight into McDermott's plans.

Ian Holloway's Blackpool offered just £20,000 for Wright-Phillips, who has scored 13 times this season, in the hope he would prefer a move to the top flight.
