Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston is hoping Ian Holloway stays on as manager.
The Seasiders boss is reportedly being monitored by manager-less Premier League clubs Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion but Oyston has his fingers crossed that the 49-year old remains despite the Bloomfield Road club missing out on Premier League promotion at the hands of West Ham United on Saturday.
"He has done remarkably well, and he has certainly accepted and worked very well with our style and the way we do things.
"He is perfect for us in that respect, and conversely we are perfect for him because he gets absolute freedom to express himself and to do what he wants to do, how he wants to do it, without any pressure from us.""It goes without saying I want Ian Holloway to be the manager and to stay in charge," Oyston told the Blackpool Gazette.
