Blackpool boss wants to bring Barnsley winger Hammill to Bloomfield Road

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is eyeing a move for Barnsley winger Adam Hammill who has impressed in the English Championship this season. The 22-year-old actually had a spell on loan from Liverpool at Bloomfield Road in the 2008-09 season, although Holloway stressed the Seasiders are just one of many interested clubs, so a deal is a long way off.

"There are lots of people who would be interested in Adam Hammill," Holloway said.

"His agent has done a good job and there is a clause in his contract which guarantees you can get him.

"We're not the only ones who know that, but we like the boy and we've had him on loan here.

"But he's not my player and there are a lot of things that have got to happen before he is.

"There are a lot of other clubs who want him, so the boy is in a great situation."
