Blackpool boss Holloway: We need winning run for promotion push

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is desperate for his charges to go on a winning sequence of results in order to mount a sustained promotion push.

The Seasiders are currently three points and three places outside the Championship play-off places as they seek a return to the top flight at the first attempt.

"Let's see if we can get in a good winning habit, which we're a long way off at the minute," said Holloway.

"If you can get a consistent run together in the second half of the season - probably Man United are the best at ever doing that in my lifetime - you end up towards the top don't you?

"We need to get four or five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10 on the row if we can, to have any chance of getting anywhere near where we want to get. We're miles off that."
