Blackpool are to offer manager Ian Holloway a new £500,000 a year contract after he led the club into the Premier League last season. Talks are on the three-year deal are still ongoing but reports on Sunday suggest the former Leicester and QPR boss is close to signing a deal which will keep him at Bloomfield Road until the summer of 2013.
Chairman Karl Oyston told the News of the World: "I know exactly what Ian's position is. He knows mine and we are not massively apart on anything. It is just about how we achieve our aspirations and structure now we are in a different league."
