Blackpool boss Ian Holloway admits he doesn't know if David Vaughan will play again this season.
Vaughan's hip injury could not have come at a worse time for Blackpool, who sit just a point clear of the drop zone with a relegation six-pointer looming against Wigan on Saturday.
And manager Holloway says he does not yet know the severity of the knock, telling the Daily Star: "Vaughan has an injury and we're not sure how long he will be out.
"I don't think the number of games he has played has helped. Like Charlie Adam, he hasn't really stopped for 18 months and didn't get much rest in the summer because we were in the play-offs."
