Blackpool boss Ian Holloway hopes the prospect of wage cuts will inspire his players to victory over Arsenal today.
Holloway, whose pay will also be cut, sends his team out against Arsenal today insisting he believes they will survive and pocket a bonus.
Holloway said: "They all deserve the money off the chairman for staying up, but if we don't stay up they won't get it. In fact, the money of all the players will be cut in half if we go down. That goes for me, as well. We go back to what we were.
"I don't think it instills fear into the players. It's a well-run club."
