Blackpool boss Holloway has been impressed by off contract Monaco midfielder Malaury Martin.
Martin is on trial with the Premier League new-boys and Holloway was pleased with his performance against Accrington.
He said: "It's very difficult. Obviously my French isn't very good as I didn't really do very well at French in school.
"His English is much better than my French and he's having to learn what I'm saying and I'm not sure if he's getting much of it.
"He played in a little role and was so disciplined, but I didn't want him to be so disciplined. He moved forward a little bit and showed all sorts of the quality that I know he's got."
