Blackpool boss Ian Holloway says Fabio Capello should stick with West Ham United's Robert Green in the England goal.
In his column for the Independent on Sunday, Holloway opined: "Two things; a draw against the USA isn't a disaster and I'd pick Robert Green next game. Yes it was a bad mistake, a mistake he's probably never even made on the training ground before, but what you look at as a manager is how a player responds after an error.
"Green remained strong. He showed good character and made a terrific stop to keep us in it.
"I had a similar thing with a young kid at Blackpool last summer called Mark Halstead. He made a mistake in a pre-season friendly with Everton. But he responded by making some terrific stops and helped us win the game. That's what you want and it's why a keeper shouldn't be buried after one mistake. So I'd pick him next match but - and here's a key thing - I'd tell him early I was going to keep him."
