Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has explained the reasons why his club did not re-sign Jonjo Shelvey on loan last week.
The 20-year old midfielder scored five goals in 10 Championship appearances for the Seasiders earlier this season and Holloway was keen to get him back to Bloomfield Road prior to the loan deadline late last week but conceded that his club did too much talking and not enough acting in bringing him back.
"The reason we haven't got him is because we were talking about him for months and he was somebody else's player.
"He is on the bench for Liverpool at the moment and they bought him for a lot of money, so well done to them.""Forget Jonjo Shelvey. I don't want to talk about him," he told the Blackpool Gazette.
